Ultrafiltration Membrane
ZETA – Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes are a type of filtration membrane used in various water and wastewater treatment applications. ZETA UF membranes are known for their high filtration efficiency and ability to remove suspended solids, colloids, and macromolecules from water. Here’s an introduction to ZETA – Ultrafiltration membranes, along with their working principles and advantages:
PVDF 90 Series
Introduction
ZETA – Ultrafiltration membranes are designed for the separation of particles and macromolecules from liquids through a size-based filtration process. These membranes are made from materials such as polyethersulfone (PES), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), or other suitable polymers. They are widely used in water treatment, wastewater reclamation, and industrial processes.
Working
ZETA – Ultrafiltration membranes work on the principle of size exclusion. They have a pore size range typically between 1 and 100 nanometers, allowing them to effectively separate particles, suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, and large molecules from the feed water. When water is passed through the membranes under pressure, the smaller molecules and solutes pass through the membrane pores as permeate, while the larger particles and contaminants are retained on the membrane surface as a concentrate or retentate.
The filtration process is driven by a transmembrane pressure difference, which creates a driving force for water and solute movement across the membrane. The permeate, which is the filtered water, is collected for further use or discharge, while the concentrate is periodically removed to prevent fouling and maintain the membrane’s performance.

Happy Clients
I have been working with Blufox for 2 years now, and I am glad I chose them from the beginning. Their products are of very high quality, and my clients have never complained about their products. Besides MBR membranes, they also have other good quality products, such as water pumps and air blowers, which suit my projects well. So if possible, I suggest you try their other products as well.
